The location is perfect, nearby the boulevard, beautiful view, nearby the market and on walking distance to restaurants en terraces. Fethiye is nice and cosy, the tourism is not so overwhelming. We liked it to live in the middle of Turkish people, from the balcony we had a good view on the street. We have seen a Turkish wedding for 100 people with cooking on big fires in the street. We hear nice stories from the people that visit our apartment; about the local contacts on the market, with the neighbours or the bakery on the corner of the street. The apartment and the atmosphere in the residential quarter are calm and quiet. But there is also social activity on the boulevard at a 100m walk and on the week-market on Tuesday and Friday at the end of the street.
